Please read carefully our terms and conditions for Jamalacs and Lilacs.

Terms of Business

Please be aware that due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, there may still be pressures over the postal and shipping services.  And that may still create disruption and delay to the arrival of your purchases. 

We confirm that all items offered for sale on this website are of a satisfactory quality and meet the descriptions described on this website.  We would not offer an item for sale that we would not be happy to purchase ourselves.  All the descriptions of items are offered in good faith and to the best of our knowledge and ability.

All photos and images on the Jamalacs and Lilacs are the property of Jamalacs and Lilacs and that of My Home Countryside Living.  They are not to be used for any purpose by any other individual or company without our prior permission.

Our dispatching days are Mondays and Thursdays.  We re-cycle packing materials. We are trying hard to avoid plastic packaging, wherever possible, but we will still use bubble wrapping to stop breakages of china and glass products. The Pride of our customers is of highest pre-eminence to us and we will apply our optimal venture to attain this goal.

Our Creations made with fabrics – They will be packed otherwise in clean new packagings.

Definitions of Goods

Goods are the items offered for sale in this shop by the seller. 

The customer is the purchaser of the items from the seller

The items for sale in Jamalacs and Lilacs Boutique are authentic vintage items. Please note that vintage items will have signs of usage, wear and tear due to their age. We will define our items in the most accurate manner possible mentioning all the major and minor flaws they come with.

Contract of Sale

No contract for sale of items shall exist until the customer has paid the purchase price of an item/items purchased and all additional/postage charges in full


Jamalacs and Lilacs accepts Credit Cards only for Online Orders.

The prices quoted for items on this website are in Pounds Sterling and do not include postage and packaging/shipping charges.  We accept payment via Paypal.  We do not accept personal cheques or postal order.  We also do not accept bank/wire transfers either from within the United Kingdom or outside the United Kingdom.

Shipping Policy

We do not ship to P.O. Boxes. If a P.O Box is entered as a shipping address, we will cancel the order and advise the buyer of the cancellation.

Delivery within the United Kingdom will take around 4 to 7 business working days.

International Delivery will take around 7 to 15 business working days.

For international order : Please note that Import Duties, Taxes, and Charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost.  These charges are the buyer’s responsibility.  Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying.

We will not be held responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including postal disruption or in the case of sending items outside the UK by customs procedures/delays.

Vintage – China and Glass, Pictures, Prints and Fashion Accessories

Vintage pieces are hand-selected and curated by Jamalacs & Lilacs and sold as they were bought to embrace their characters, charms, and beauty of their imperfections.  Therefore we do not accept returns and refunds for the above selections. 

We do not provide insurance for china and glass which cannot be covered in this way. However, we do take exceptional care when packing china and glass items. We will use our best attempts to have your goods delivered as soon as possible, but whilst we use best efforts to keep to a delivery date, delivery time shall not be of the essence and we shall not be liable for any losses, damages, costs or expenses incurred by the buyer arising from a failure to keep to a delivery date.

Home-made Creation with Fabrics

Please note that we do not do EXCHANGE in the Home-Made Creations by J&L.

But if you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us before you return the item.  You have 7 working days from the date of receipt to cancel and return your order for a full refund.

Return shipping is at the customer’s expenses.  You are responsible for the return shipping costs with one of our preferred shippers (UPS).  We highly recommend using a delivery service with a tracking number for shipping.  We are not responsible for any return packages lost in transit.

All items purchased must be returned in its original conditions.  It must be unused, unaltered, and unwashed.

If the items have any sort of smells like food smell, cigarettes smell, and or other type of smell or dirt, we will NOT make a refund because we will not be able to sell the items again.  We are sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause.


The availability of products on the website is updated regularly.  Every item on this website is unique although very occasionally there maybe more than one available in the same design.

After placing an order, you will receive an email acknowledging that your order has been received.  Please note that this does not mean that your order has been accepted.  I accept orders for delivery to any overseas destination and you will be informed of any extra delivery charges by email.


All prices shown are inclusive of VAT at the current rate, and are in UK Sterling Pounds (£).  Whilst all prices and specifications have been checked, no responsibility can be taken for errors or omissions.  I reserve the right to alter prices or specifications without notice.


The purchase will be packed for shipment in a professional manner, and items will be scheduled for delivery once payment has been received.

We try to keep packaging charges to a minimum but will ensure that all items are suitably packaged.  We always use a trackable postage service that requires a signature on delivery, whether via Royal Mail or other courier, so that your purchase is trackable while on its way to you.

You will receive an email informing you that your order has been dispatched.  Should you have any queries relating to the delivery of your order, please email me at: (jamalacsandlilacs@gmail.com).  Under normal conditions, orders will be Dispatched Twice a week, Mondays and Fridays.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure delivery will be accepted when attempted by the courier

If you wish an item to be delivered to another address, for instance for a gift, please email us with a request.

Delivery Method

United Kingdom – Deliveries will be made by UPS Couriers within 5-7 business working days, not including weekends or UK Bank Holidays.

International – Deliveries will be made by UPS Courier or Parcel Force within 7-14 business working days, but may delay due to some type of national holidays in your country.

Electronic Communications and Privacy

All contacts with you will be action by email.  Your personal details will not be released to any outsiders for mailing or marketing purposes.  We will hold all your information confidentially and J&L will treat your personal information with utmost respect.

Your information

When you register with Jamalacs and Lilacs through the process of placing an order, or request for information you will be asked to provide certain details as follows:

  • Your name and address.
  • The details of your Credit or Debit Cards (only if you are placing an order and paying by Credit or Debit Card and only for the purpose of passing this to a payment processing merchant – we do not retain your Credit or Debit Card Details).
  • We use your email address so that we can process your order to notify you of your order status and inform you of special offers and promotions.

You are advised to refrain from using any computer or device to make an order if you suspect of the presence of spyware or virus on it.

Christmas Orders

In order to receive your purchase in time for Christmas, the plan is as follows :

International Delivery – Please place your order by 5th December.

United Kingdom Delivery – Please place your order by 15th December.

Sales received between 16 and 18th December, we will do our utmost to dispatch them for the United Kingdom only. UK buyers, please note that once your purchase is dropped off at the UPS Point, it will be out of our control to get them to you before Christmas. Since that Couriers works round the clock during Christmas season, there are 6 days between 18th and 24th December, which there is a possibility you may be able to receive your parcels before Christmas Day.

Therefore web sales received from the 19th December will be dispatched on the 6th January.
