May Flowers

It is another beautiful day here, warm and cool.  And I am sitting by the window to write my blog post.  While I enjoy the new dawn, it is 4.50 am in the morning.   Everywhere is still quiet and my little town will be waking up soon.

I have done a lot of spring cleaning last month.  And I did some re-purposing of some old bits and pieces.  I am going to re-paint them and give them a new life from the vintage fatigue.

However, today I am going to linger over my tea while I watch the new day unfold through my window.  The teacup is a stone make and it has a teddy bear having a picnic on the grasses.I love having flowers around the house.  They bring freshness, beauty and tranquillity to the home.  And we had plenty of rain in the last month.  So they say that April showers bring May flowers.  And we are indeed having some beautiful blooms.

I see the day is getting brighter.  I have enjoyed the break of the new dawn sitting by the window.  It gave me the concentration to write this post.  Writing is the perfect distraction from all that is going on in the world actually.

  It is the first time ever I feel myself stuck between the four walls of my home.  Although internet connects us with the world, still it is not like the touch of meeting the people we love in reality.
