Good morning world. Like an old song "it's raining

Good morning world. Like an old song "it's raining, it's raining again." Yes it is pouring down here. I like to listen to the rain fall and read a book. But today I am busy making creations.

It's been a while I was wanting a very antique lamp base. I found this brass metal Morrocan ornate gold lamp base. I fell in love with it. I thought for a few days if I should leave it. Then I thought also that there comes a time you find something special with age, but it doesn't come around a second time.
Then started searching online if I could find the same, but in vain. Hmmm, suddenly it came to my senses that if I want this old pretty baby, get it now before someone else snatch it away.
Well my friends, it is on the way to me. It is mine now.
Note the pictures are for the sellers, I used it only to show you what next for me.
I am going to buy some Brasso to clean it, then dress her up with my beautiful shade. Wait for the next. I will surely share the next phase of it - stay tuned.

Spring is still in the air over here. The weather was nice today.

But the news are not looking good. If they hit Finland and Sweden, United Kingdom will go to war. It is very scary moments we are facing. We don't know what is going to happen tonight or the next hour.

May the Most High makes the best decision of all time. In the Name of the Strongest of the Earth!

More busy days over here. Still sewing the beautiful bags. And not much to say really. The weather is not looking too good.

And the picture is of my wedding pearls. It was worn only once 22 years ago. And since then it's been kept as a collectible. And most probably it will be passed down to my daughter one day.

Well my lovelies, it's another weekend. Let us make it fun with families and friends.

Remnant fabrics and creations.
Good afternoon insta friends. Here the weather is wonderful. The sky is blue, the sun is out and shining. And there is a cool breeze coming in through the window. So nice to feel the fresh air.

Here I am busy with remnant fabrics. I kept lots of fabric books and pieces of fabrics. For many years I never did a thing with them and they have piled up. Therefore this season I thought I am going to sew lots of pieces to get rid of them. I am going to make summer shopping bags and or beach bags. I cannot wait for me to finish them all. I will be sharing them soon.

Good evening everyone. It's been hectic days over

Good evening everyone.
It's been hectic days over here. I just happened to put my sewing machine off and I called it a day. And not forgetting I have been rolling the machine on a Sunday. And tomorrow being Bank Holiday Monday, I will take a break and perhaps do something else small not too tiring.

It has been a cloudy day and the weather was cold.

Many of you here knows I love interior decorating. I have put my life into this for many years. And today I made a dish of fruits with my vintage porcelain cascade vase. I went to town yesterday and I brought home some green foliage for the vase. And green foliage does freshen the house.

Well my lovelies, I hope your Sunday was a good day. And I wish you all a wonderful week and let's hope for some sunshine.

This painting is about women. And my painting depict women in a village. I love the beautiful day I brought into the picture.

I wish I lived in a village where I could go sit down by the beach and watch the passing by of seafarers, or read a book and adore the old lighthouse.

And not forgetting that living in the old little village house in the corner of the village is more than ideal. A life away from all the busy bustles of this world.

I wonder if there are still little places like this scattered in corners of the world.

OK friends, I am a mid 70's child.

We waited for the sunny season for a very long time. Finally it got here. And I am sharing table napkins made by myself at Jamalacs and Lilacs. It would make a beautiful table setting for the dining table either inside the home or at alfresco. This is one of several sets which I have more to share with you in the coming days.
